Padel Tournaments for Yorkshire Players
Padel Grid is a championship season of one-day padel tournaments. You enter on your own, partners rotate through the league stage, and your finishing position at every round feeds one season-long standings table.
Our rounds currently run in Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Yorkshire players already travel over the Pennines for them, and Yorkshire venues are next on our expansion list — join the waitlist and we'll tell you first.

Why Yorkshire players enter
- Individual entry — no partner required, so travelling in alone is normal
- Divisions graded by Playtomic level, from 2.5 upwards
- Closest rounds are 60–90 minutes from Leeds, Sheffield and Huddersfield
- Yorkshire venue partners wanted for the next expansion round
Yorkshire rounds — what's happening
There are no Yorkshire dates on the season map yet. We add venues where there's a clear group of players asking for one, so the waitlist is what decides the first Yorkshire round.
In the meantime, Yorkshire entries are welcome at every North West round. Nothing about entry changes — same graded divisions, same individual entry, same standings table.

Partner with us
If you run a club in Yorkshire and want to host a round, or you'd like to sponsor one, we work with venues and brands across the season.
Getting there
- Leeds and Bradford: M62 west to Rochdale or Manchester — roughly an hour to most rounds.
- Sheffield: M67/A57 or the A628 for Cheadle and Stockport rounds, around 1h15.
- By train: Leeds and Sheffield both run direct to Manchester Piccadilly for city-centre rounds.
- Rounds start early (usually 7–8am), so most Yorkshire players drive over on the morning.
Questions
Yorkshire padel tournament FAQs
Are there Padel Grid tournaments in Yorkshire yet?
Not yet. Every round this season is in Greater Manchester or Cheshire. Yorkshire is on the expansion list and the waitlist decides which venue we approach first.
Can Yorkshire players enter the North West rounds?
Yes. Entry is individual and open to anyone, wherever you're based. Leeds, Sheffield and Huddersfield players already play our rounds.
How far is the nearest round from Leeds or Sheffield?
Rochdale is the closest for West Yorkshire at roughly an hour; Cheadle and Stockport are around 1h15 from Sheffield.
I run a padel club in Yorkshire — can you host a round here?
That's exactly how new regions start. Get in touch and we'll talk through court numbers, dates and what a round needs.
Do I need a partner to enter?
No. Partners rotate through the league stage, so you enter as an individual and play with and against different people all day.
