Version 1.0 · 9 September 2026
This notice explains how Padel Grid uses the personal information collected when you register for one of our padel tournaments.
Padel Grid organises and runs padel tournaments and a season-long championship at partner venues across the North West. Padel Grid is the controller of the registration information described in this notice.
Your full legal name, preferred name, date of birth, email address, mobile number, emergency contact name and number, Playtomic rating and profile link, playing level, gender or category where relevant to the event, partner preference, the round and division you registered for, your declarations, your photography preference, your signature, and the date and time of signing. For players under 18 we also collect the name and contact details of a parent or legal guardian.
We use your information to administer the event, confirm you are in the right division, add you to the event draw on Playtomic, place you into groups and fixtures, contact you with important event information, respond to emergencies, and keep accurate registration and championship records. This is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you and for our legitimate interests in running a safe, well-organised event, and to meet legal or insurance obligations. Photography and video use is separate and relies on your permission, which you can withdraw at any time.
Event venue staff and event officials where needed to run the event or respond to an incident, Playtomic where your entry is confirmed in a draw, our technology providers who host this system on our behalf, and emergency or medical services if required. We do not sell your information.
Registration records, declarations and signed forms are retained for three years after the event, after which they are deleted or anonymised, unless we must keep them longer for legal, insurance or safeguarding reasons.
Registration data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorised Padel Grid organisers and administrators.
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where the law allows, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw photography permission for future use. Withdrawing photography permission does not affect material already lawfully published or distributed.
