Individual entry · rotating partners · your own result
Enter a Manchester Padel Tournament Without a Partner
Not having a partner is the most common reason players never enter a tournament. Every Padel Grid round removes it: you sign up as one person, you are graded on your own rating, and partners rotate through the league stage.
Every match matters · Every point counts
How individual entry works
You book a single place in a division through Playtomic — no partner field, no pair to name, no reserve to organise. At check-in we confirm your level, give you your league group and explain the rotation. From there the schedule tells you who you are playing with and against.
The rotating-partner format
The league stage is a series of short matches, each with a different partner and different opponents. Your score is your own, whatever your partner does, and one poor match does not end your day. Top finishers go into quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final, with pairings set by the format and announced on court.
What level to enter
- Playtomic rating is the starting point and is confirmed at check-in
- Premier draws are restricted to 4.0 and above
- Division 1 covers roughly 2.5 to 3.9, including first-time competitors
- Women's draws are graded on their own ladder with their own podium
Scoring and standings
Every match is scored by our team and shown in live standings during the day. Your finishing position converts into Championship Points for the season table, and podium finishes stay on the results pages with photographs from the round.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I really enter a padel tournament without a partner?
Yes. Every Padel Grid round is individual entry. Partners rotate through the league stage and knockout pairings are set by the format, so you never have to find someone to sign up with.
Will I be stuck with a much weaker partner?
Partners rotate, so any imbalance evens out across the round. Divisions are graded by rating, which keeps the spread inside your group narrow to begin with.
Do I score match points individually?
Yes. Championship points are awarded on your own finishing position, not on a pair's result.
Can I still enter with a friend if I want to?
You can both enter the same round, but you will be graded into the division that matches each of your levels and partners will still rotate.
