Mixed pairs. Rotating partners. Everyone plays everyone.
Mixed Padel Tournaments in Manchester
Mixed draws are the most sociable competitive format we run. Men and women enter individually into the same league, partners rotate through the day, and Championship Points are still awarded on your individual finishing position.
Every match matters · Every point counts
Who it is for
- Couples and friends who want to play the same event without being drawn together all day
- Players who want variety in partners and opponents
- Anyone who finds fixed-pair tournaments unforgiving
- Workplace and club groups entering several players at once
How a mixed round works
The league stage pairs you with a different partner each rotation and balances pairs so no team is stacked. Because your score is individual, you are rewarded for lifting whoever you are playing with. Top finishers progress to the knockout stages.
What level to enter
Mixed draws still respect level bands. Where entry numbers allow we split into an upper and lower mixed league so matches stay close; if numbers do not support two leagues, the rotation is seeded so pairings are deliberate rather than random.
When mixed rounds run
Mixed formats appear through the season alongside the men's and women's programmes, often as evening or bank holiday events. The calendar and the WhatsApp groups carry each announcement.
Why mixed draws produce the closest matches
Balanced pairing is easier in a mixed field than a single-sex one, because the seeding has two variables to work with rather than one. In practice that means more matches decided by two or three points, fewer blowouts, and a qualification line that stays open until the last rotation.
Entering as a group
Groups of four to twelve enter mixed rounds regularly — workplace teams, club squads and friend groups. Everyone still books individually so the draw stays balanced, but tell us you are coming as a group and we will make sure your rotations overlap enough that you actually see each other during the day.
